Value Stream Mapping Training Course Overview:

Value Stream Mapping training enables Salt Lake City students to visually summarize processes highlighting their waste, and opportunities for improvement. Value Stream Mapping is an essential tool of Lean Manufacturing. 'Value stream' refers to the fact that the mapping is depicting the process flow by which raw materials, information, etc. are altered and combined forming something for which customers are willing to pay. Along the way, any actions for which customers are not willing to pay are considered waste and highlighted on the map. Wastes generally take the form of downtime, inventory, inspection, etc.; manifestations of the Seven Deadly Sins.

I was very satisfied with the (GD&T) Training. Our instructor took the time to explain everything clearly drawing it all out and with cool sound effects.

FMEA training via video conference was excellent with great real world examples. Material and format kept me engaged. The class was more than I expected. I (also) liked Measurement System Analysis training even though I was somewhat familiar with Gage R&R, I learned new techniques that can help me visualize the data quicker / easier. There were also areas where I was able to ask questions more applicable to my new role in this new company. Process Control training was informative and engaging. IATF training was excellent. Instructor was able to answer all of my questions and go above and beyond in assessing my own documentation. I now have not only a better understand of the subject, but I feel confident in the documents we send to our customers
