Peaches, palmetto trees, and striped bass are common. Grits are perhaps the food loved most by South Carolinians; specifically shrimp and grits. Other beloved local foods include fatback, southern sweet iced tea, fried chicken, blacked-eyed peas and rice, cornbread, Beaufort stew, and boiled peanuts.
