About Human Error Prevention Training

Who is Human Error Prevention Training for?

Human Error Prevention is ideal for those responsible for process improvement whether related to safety, quality, or productivity especially if your team is suffering from recurring issues. Amman students are often executives, managers, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel who want to decrease overall environmental, occupational safety, and quality defects in their operations. In our course, Amman students learn:

Human Error Prevention Training Course Overview:

Amman students improve their knowledge of the psychology and physiology contributing to human error. Human Error is a root or proximate cause in 80% of operational incidents and accidents as well as quality defects and escapes. Human operators have an influence over every layer of protection barriers within a system. Organizational and regulatory influences, unsafe supervision, preconditions for unsafe acts, and unsafe acts of operators can line up in a way to defeat all safeguards and allow accidents or quality defects to occur. Human Error Prevention provides tools to address this including insights into why human errors occur through mistakes, slips, lapses, and violations, human performance and limitations, skills, rules, and knowledge-based behavior, tools to make systems and operations more error resistant and error tolerant (checklists, memory aids, hierarchical task analyses, guideword analyses, cognitive workloads, reward utility, etc.), and how to integrate human error prevention strategies into your operations. The Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) is thoroughly discussed as a mishap prevention aid.

Amman

City of Stairs

Excellent choice! Amman is a thriving, mountainous, ancient yet modernized Arab city, and major Mediterranean tourist destination. Located northeast of the Dead Sea, Amman's history dates back to Neolithic times. It served as a vital location along the King's Highway between Egypt and Mesopotamia. City rule transformed from Greek to Roman, Byzantine, Muslim, and British. Roman remnants include the Temple of Hercules, thoughtfully-located 6,000-seat Roman Theater, smaller 500-seat Odeon Theater, and the Nymphaeum public fountain. Recently, Amman has enjoyed economic growth thanks to its emergence as a business hub. It is the 4th most visited Arab city. After Human Error Prevention Training, students find no shortage of culinary diversity ranging from traditional shawerma stands and falafel joints to Asian fusion restaurants, French bistros, and Italian trattorias.

Our Master Black Belt introduced improved quality and manufacturing processes. Our company was moving to become ISO certified. He and I, plus one other, came from the automotive side and certified in ISO. Further, we had QS experience which was a more concentrated standard to allow all automotive companies to work to the same quality and manufacturing standard. He was also familiar with TS quality standards.
