About Lean Lego Game

Who is Lean Lego Game for?

Since we all deal with and use processes in some form both at work and home, Lean Manufacturing training is useful for everybody. Yet, its usually taken by Tucson students working in manufacturing or service provision. In our course, Tucson students learn:

Lean Lego Game Course Overview:

Rather than death by PowerPoint, experience waste, push vs. pull processes, kanban, kaizen, systems thinking, and work cells in a fun exercise. This workshop is intended for students fairly early in their Lean journey but can be a fun refresher for more advanced practitioners. It can be run in either a short or longer session which never goes past half-day. A typical day looks like this:

Old Pueblo

Excellent choice! Tucson means "base of the black (hills)". It began as a fort which was later connected by wagon road to California. After Lean Lego Game, check out Saguaro National Park.

I had the privilege of working with our Master Black Belt when he spearheaded the Six Sigma transformation within our company. The "do-as-I-do" disciplined style of his direction resonated within our entire organization. This was during a period of escalated growth and the management struggles that often accompany. Through his steady and focused approach, he brought structure to the craziness, garnered buy-in at all levels, and was quickly recognized as the guru. This was several years ago and now as a leader in an unrelated industry, I still find myself looking back on many of the concepts and methods we discussed. You may remember that one great teacher you had when you were in school, or a mentor you still think about today? He is one of those kind of special people who one is fortunate to know.

Our Master Black Belt has excellent leadership skills and had great ability to drive the team with excellent results. He is highly customer oriented. I had learned a lot from him on the implementation of the best practices in lean Six Sigma & application of DOE's in process improvements
