Vancouver is known for culinary specialties including Japanese-inspired JapaDogs and BC rolls, and salmon candy along with the expected cornucopia of seafood. JapaDogs are an otherwise regular hot dog enhanced with seaweed flakes, teriyaki sauce, miso, and wasabi. BC rolls are the province's signature sushi roll hallmarked by savory and chewy grilled salmon skin.
