About Human Error Prevention Training

Who is Human Error Prevention Training for?

Human Error Prevention is ideal for those responsible for process improvement whether related to safety, quality, or productivity especially if your team is suffering from recurring issues. Mumbai students are often executives, managers, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel who want to decrease overall environmental, occupational safety, and quality defects in their operations. In our course, Mumbai students learn:

Human Error Prevention Training Course Overview:

Mumbai students improve their knowledge of the psychology and physiology contributing to human error. Human Error is a root or proximate cause in 80% of operational incidents and accidents as well as quality defects and escapes. Human operators have an influence over every layer of protection barriers within a system. Organizational and regulatory influences, unsafe supervision, preconditions for unsafe acts, and unsafe acts of operators can line up in a way to defeat all safeguards and allow accidents or quality defects to occur. Human Error Prevention provides tools to address this including insights into why human errors occur through mistakes, slips, lapses, and violations, human performance and limitations, skills, rules, and knowledge-based behavior, tools to make systems and operations more error resistant and error tolerant (checklists, memory aids, hierarchical task analyses, guideword analyses, cognitive workloads, reward utility, etc.), and how to integrate human error prevention strategies into your operations. The Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) is thoroughly discussed as a mishap prevention aid.

Mumbai

City of Seven Islands

Excellent choice! Mumbai is one of the world's top ten commercial centers, and major financial, commercial, technological, cultural, and entertainment center of India. Mumbai began as a fishing community built on what was once an archipelago of seven islands. After changing rulers for several centuries, the city eventually fell under British direction in 1782 after which the islands were connected by land reclamation and construction of the Hornby Vellard causeway. Later, railway connected Mumbai to neighboring Thane. Cotton trading flourished for a while but was redeveloped into a diversified economy still strong in textiles but including diamond-polishing, leather processing, and film production. After class, our students find no shortage of entertainment options in Mumbai thanks to an extensive blend of both Western and traditional Indian festivals, food, music, and theaters. Beaches, museums, temples, etc. are also popular attractions. Some of the most famous include Gateway of India, an island with sculpted cave temples known as the Elephanta Caves, and the architecturally amazing Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Our training for GD&T1 clearly demonstrated that our instructor was very knowledgeable and proficient in the application of GD&T. The training was very clear and covered many of the basic GD&T standards that is used throughout my own day-to-day work. I will highly recommend at least taking this introduction course if you work in manufacturing or tangentially-related industry in any capacity.
