About Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training

Who is Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training for?

Machine Condition Signature Analysis training is for anybody interested in lowering the downtime of their machines. In our course, Cleveland students learn:

Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training Course Overview:

MCSA training describes Machine Condition Signature Analysis - saving Cleveland students money by replacing unplanned failure with preventive maintenance. Machine Condition Signature Analysis (MCSA) is similar to Statistical Process Control. A gage (accelerometer) is used to take a snapshot of a machine's "normal" performance (i.e. record its "signature"). Specifically, signatures are usually collected for each of the machines high-wear components; motors, pumps, etc. Periodic measurements are then taken over time to assess deviation from normal. When deviation reaches a defined threshold, the machine is scheduled for preventive maintenance. As such, Machine Condition Signature Analysis improves operational profitability. It pays for itself in the form of lower total maintenance cost and higher uptime.

Cleveland

City of Light - Rock and Roll Capital of the World

Excellent choice! Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training in Cleveland happens in an all-American city known for boating, fishing, and being the birthplace of Life Savers, potato chips, Superman, and golf balls. Its waterfront location provided the advantage of access to Great Lakes trade fostering growth after completion of the Ohio and Erie Canal. The city received iron ore and coal shipped from Minnesota transported by rail helping it emerge as a major manufacturing center specializing in automotive production. Malls and museums arose. Skyscrapers were erected. And its economy diversified into healthcare and the arts.

Our Master Black Belt introduced improved quality and manufacturing processes. Our company was moving to become ISO certified. He and I, plus one other, came from the automotive side and certified in ISO. Further, we had QS experience which was a more concentrated standard to allow all automotive companies to work to the same quality and manufacturing standard. He was also familiar with TS quality standards.
