About Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training

Who is Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training for?

Machine Condition Signature Analysis training is for anybody interested in lowering the downtime of their machines. In our course, Minneapolis students learn:

Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training Course Overview:

MCSA training describes Machine Condition Signature Analysis - saving Minneapolis students money by replacing unplanned failure with preventive maintenance. Machine Condition Signature Analysis (MCSA) is similar to Statistical Process Control. A gage (accelerometer) is used to take a snapshot of a machine's "normal" performance (i.e. record its "signature"). Specifically, signatures are usually collected for each of the machines high-wear components; motors, pumps, etc. Periodic measurements are then taken over time to assess deviation from normal. When deviation reaches a defined threshold, the machine is scheduled for preventive maintenance. As such, Machine Condition Signature Analysis improves operational profitability. It pays for itself in the form of lower total maintenance cost and higher uptime.

Minneapolis

City of Lakes - Forward

Excellent choice! Minneapolis-Saint Paul Twin Cities form a major metropolitan area with a population of 3.2M built around the Mississippi, Minnesota and St. Croix rivers. Minneapolis is somewhat younger with more skyscrapers with Scandinavian roots. Saint Paul has more quaint neighborhoods with well-preserved late-Victorian architecture influenced by French, Irish, and German heritage. Both cities began with a connection to to Mississippi River. Minneapolis formed thanks to water power derived from Saint Anthony Falls. Whereas Saint Paul was the last convenient boat unloading location prior to the falls. The area is renown for strong child education, and polite / recreational culture offering many fun outdoor and culinary activities for students after Machine Condition Signature Analysis Training. Most popular of these include shopping on Grand Avenue, exploring Minnehaha Falls Park, admiring works at the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Other popular destinations are Como Park Zoo and Conservatory and Mill City Museum commemorating the Washburn Flour Mill.

I had an excellent and memorable experience of attending Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt training from a professional trainer, coach and industry expert who was hired by our organization to help with the transformation of company processes. Our Master Black Belt was not only knowledgeable in the subject but also had several years of hands-on experience working on complex projects, solving problems, applying and implementing Lean and Six Sigma techniques. His teaching skills were exceptional making it easy for everyone to clearly understand the concepts. He brought energy and motivation in the workforce and quickly won praise, recognition and respect from management, staff and shop floor employees. His knowledge transfer, coaching, and guidance helped improve several key processes and resulted in significant improvement in company KPIs and customer satisfaction level. I highly recommend him for his remarkable skills, knowledge, passion, and professional approach towards process and business excellence.

I had the pleasure of working with our Master Black Belt in a high-tech manufacturing company where formal continuous improvement was a new concept. I was impressed with his ability to translate the concepts and skills needed to start down the path of the discipline in a way that was not only accessible to the employees, but excited them and moved many of them into being active, positive participants. I saw an immediate improvement in overall engagement, which helped in areas well beyond the tactical and functional areas included in the improvement project, itself.
