About Process Capability Training

Who is Process Capability Training for?

Process Capability Study Training is for anybody who cares about satisfying their customers. If your customers receive services or goods resulting from a process with a measurable output, then process capability study training is for you. In our course, Milwaukee students learn:

Process Capability Training Course Overview:

Process Capability Training lets Milwaukee students study and predict processes long-term defect rates and assess their ability to satisfy your customers. Can you predict how many defects a process in your area will make? You might measure 12 parts all in-spec, but does that mean the process is good? Probably not. Companies buy equipment all the time without qualifying whether it will even meet their customers' needs. Our students avoid this huge mistake. Topics include:

Specifications. Unilateral or bilateral, nominal, tolerance, and upper and lower limits.

Inferential Statistics. Population, sample, average, standard deviation, normal distributions, and testing for normality.

Capability Indices. Specification relevance, and indices including CP, CPL, CPU, CPK, CPM, CR, PP, PPK, and PR are presented along with their transformations into defect rates and Z-scores.

Sampling. How to collect a statistically significant sample.

Construction. How to construct the process capability study.

Interpretation. How to forecast long-term defect rates.

Milwaukee

Cream City

Excellent choice! Milwaukee means 'pleasant land'. It is a city perfectly situated to serve as a port at the Menomonee River's mouth into the west coast of Lake Michigan. Since early in the city's economy, wheat was shipped out by ship and train giving rise to grain elevator and brewery construction. Tanneries and a brickyard making cream-colored bricks; this Milwaukee's nickname "Cream City" had nothing to do with dairy. Sine then, the city diversified to include more manufacturing infrastructure. Several entertainment options exist for after Process Capability Training. Water sports are popular especially various forms of sailing. The Harley-Davidson and Milwaukee Art Museums are prominent attractions. Lakefront Brewery and Pabst Mansion are also highly rated.

Great 5S course. It exceeded my expectations. I will use this course in my job, home, and also at my local little league that I volunteer at during my off time.

Energy

I had the pleasure of working with our Master Black Belt at our energy tech firm. There, he created an internal mentorship and training program to teach lean/six sigma concepts. The training was made available to employees spread both horizontally and vertically throughout the organization. Executives, managers, assemblers and receptionists alike were soon finding and eliminating waste within their workday. This divide-and-conquer philosophy in executing the continuous improvement program was not only an incredibly efficient way to find and implement cost savings, but also created a culture of empowerment within our organization. Our MBB encouraged all of his students to use these techniques to add value to the organization, in-turn making them more valuable employees.
